Activision Blizzard has announced that the renowned publisher Sierra will be coming back to focus on indie studios developing new and innovative IPs and reimaginings of beloved Sierra classics. Sierra’s most famous game series, King’s Quest will be making a return in 2015, while a new Geometry Wars game is planned for a holiday release this year. Additional indie projects are being explored with the potential for more games to be released this year and 2015.

King’s Quest is being developed by The Odd Gentlemen, known for The Misadventures of PB Winterbottom. The game will be a full-reimagined version of the classic game that will appeal to not only fans of the original, but newcomers to the series. In the narrative, you’ll find King Graham sharing his life’s adventures through an awe-inspiring art style and engaging puzzles.

Geometry Wars3: Dimensions will introduce cooperative and competitive multiplayer, along with full 3D action for the first time. Offering a full single-player campaign with 50 unique challenges and over 10 battle modes, Geometry Wars3: Dimensions features both dynamic and persistent progression, offering a new experience each time you play.
