Originally released on PlayStation 3, Valkyria Chronicles set a memorable storyline during a great world war with vibrant painterly visuals. Last year saw the release of the game on PC, but until now Sega has been quiet regarding porting that version over to consoles.

The remastered version will be releasing sometime in the Spring. Sega has ensured fans that the already impressive visuals have been upgraded to 1080p and 60 frames-per-second. Sega plans to have both a physical and digital copy of the game available when it releases. Pre-orders and a limited number of launch retail copies will come in the collectible Squad 7 Armored Case.

Valkyria Chronicles Remastered will include all existing DLC released for the original game (Hard EX Mode, Edy's Mission, Selvaria's Mission, and Challenge of the Edy Detachment ), as well as trophy support for the first time on a PlayStation platform.
