Painkiller: Hell & Damnation Deemed Too Evil for Germany

By Kevin Mitchell Posted on October 3, 2012

Painkiller Hell & Damnation is scheduled for release on Halloween, October 31 for those uninformed, except in Germany where the strict censorship against violent games continues. Confirmed by Nordic Games in Vienna, Austria, the latest game in the Painkiller series will not receive an age rating. Apparently demons and other creatures of the Damned are too much for the minds of children and adults alike.

Better make sure all closet doors are locked and triple check under your bed or you may find yourself face to face with a creature from beyond that wants nothing more than to drag you back to Hell with it.

Or it may just be a game and people need to lighten up.

Painkiller Hell & Damnation continues the fast-paced thrill ride from the first as you once again take control of Daniel Garner to fight your way past hordes of demons and fiends.

Pre-order the Standard Edition for $19.99 on Steam now or the Collector's Edition for $29.99
