I Ain't Afraid Of No (Call of Duty) Ghosts

Activision Blizzard is ready to show off the next-generation of Call of Duty and its not going to be called Modern Warfare 4. Being developed by the remnants of Infinity Ward, Call of Duty: Ghosts will be the first next-generation Call of Duty title, but will also be available on current generation platforms, including PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Activision looks like they will be passing on the Wii U this time – which is odd considering we rated Black Ops II higher on the Wii U than on PS3.

“Ghosts delivers an all-new story, all-new characters, an all-new Call of Duty world, all powered by a next generation Call of Duty engine, which is a leap forward for the franchise. Infinity Ward is going all-in to create the next generation of Call of Duty worthy of the world’s greatest fans.”
Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision Publishing, Inc.

he exclusive reveal will be shown at Xbox: the Next Generation Revealed on May 21 on Xbox.com, Xbox Live and Spike TV.

If you want to secure your copy of what will most likely sell a bazillion copies, Call of Duty: Ghosts is available for pre-order now with a release date set for November 5, 2013.
