Darksiders, Saints Row, and Metro go DRM-free on GOG.com

By Kevin Mitchell Posted on May 11, 2015

The GOG library expands with the help of publishers Deep Silver and Nordic Games, adding five previously released retail titles from intellectual properties once owned by the now defunct THQ. This marks the first time that these titles are available without any restricting DRM of any kind. Although most gamers will already own these popular titles (whether on Steam or console platforms), all five will be discounted until May 18th. Each individual discount can be found below, but adding the entire Darksiders Series (Darksiders, Darksiders II, Darksiders II - Complete DLC Pack) to your cart increases the discount from 60% to 75% off.

With the upcoming release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and the open beta release of the GOG Galaxy client, GOG is looking to provide competition to a digital market heavily influenced by Steam.
