Call of Duty: Black Ops III PC to get mod tools in 2016

The hardcore following Call of Duty has built over the years will soon get their hands on the very first mod tools for the Black Ops series. However, the mod tools will only be available on PC with a current target date for Alpha in March. The mod tools allow players to create maps, game modes, and setup unranked servers with mods enabled.

No further details were given in the blog post, but it seems Treyarch doesn't want to give away too many details this early on, as certain aspects may change during development. Although Call of Duty has been traditionally more popular on consoles than PC, it will be interesting to see if this information will affect launch sales numbers.
