Action-RPG Victor Vran Hits Steam Early Access

The developers behind the island dictator simulation, also known as the Tropico series, has a new game entering Steam Early Access. Victor Vran is a isometric new action-RPG, similar in style to the Diablo and Torchlight series. Haemimont is focusing on player feedback while the game is in Early Access to help shape the game.

Victor Vran features in-game tools to allow submission of feedback on every aspect of the game, including bug reporting with minimal interruption. Any of the game features can be liked/disliked or commented on with a single mouse click. The developers are looking to take all the feedback and use it to fuel subsequent updates to the game while it is in Early Access.

Players who purchase the game while it is in Early Access will receive an exclusive Wanderer outfit, unlocking an unique in-game look for the character. It won't offer any gameplay advantage, so won't be considered to be game breaking or forcing players to purchase the game early.

The current version of Victor Vran will be limited to the first two regions, with a promise of six hours of gameplay. Currently there are four different weapon types, sword, shotgun, hammer, and rapier, with each one providing a distinct playstyle and special attacks. More weapon classes will be made available through the Early Access program.

Victor Vran allows for both standard keyboard and mouse controls, as well as controller support. The game is priced at $19.99, but will 25% off for the next week.
