Deadliest Warrior: Ancient Combat is based off the hit Spike TV show, Deadliest Warrior, which pits two combatants from history against each other in a battle to the death. It was only a matter of time before games based on this concept would make their way to consoles. The concept is brilliant and on paper sounds like it would be an amazing experience as the show itself is very well done, but something is just lost in the transition to the game world. It is still able to pull off a enjoyable experience if you can look past its flaws though.

Back to war! Warriors Orochi 3 is the most recent release in the Warriors Orochi series, and for many who have seen the Warriors tag adorn games, it’s probably something like the 50th in their eyes. This series though differs from the other Samurai and Dynasty series in a number of ways, but it’s still the same core gameplay at its center - hit one button and beat the everloving crap out of anyone you see.
